We are currently recruiting for Value Stream Chemists / Specialists to join the teams across the Pre LOE, Post LOE and NPI Value Streams.

Position Summary
The Company Ringaskiddy API site has a number of full time opportunities for Value Stream Chemists and Value Stream Specialists to be filled across the Pre LOE, Post LOE and NPI Value Streams.
These positions will report to the appropriate Value Stream Product Leader. The roles will be responsible for delivering excellence in all aspects of API manufacture at Ringaskiddy across the API lifecycle.
The successful candidates will successfully co-ordinate the manufacture of key API processes and provide appropriate technical support to process teams to sustain and improve the processes assigned. This will involve focusing on flawless execution throughout each assigned campaign, focusing on the fundamentals of safety, quality, supply and cost. Cost Improvement Projects (CIP) development will also be a key part of the roles.
The roles involve development of close collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders and support departments. A key attribute is the ability to collaborate closely with process operators, PSL’s, craft and other appropriate colleagues. These positions are key roles within the Value Streams at Ringaskiddy API and will provide excellent opportunities for the successful candidate to gain invaluable development experience, across the site.

Main Responsibilities
The principal accountabilities of this position are:
• Co-ordinate the manufacture of key API processes.
• Provide process technical support to process teams to sustain & improve the processes assigned.
• Promote a flawless execution manufacturing environment.
• Trouble-shoot and provide sustainable solutions for root cause processing problems.
• Ensure the process, the plant, the automation & process operators / PSL’s are appropriately aligned to run processes per Process Safety & Product Quality attributes.
• Manage the equipment & unit operation process knowledge, information and data requirements associated with production.
• Effectively use the site business processes to support production e.g. change control, deviations, 6 sigma method investigations, etc.
• Technical transfer, Scale –up & Installation of new processes & new unit operations onto and with-in the plant.
• Support Process & Facility start-ups, initial campaigns & process optimizations.
• Support plant process change overs and plant clean ups.
• Use computer-based modelling, simulation & analysis to look for improvement opportunities and to analyse problems.
• Identify hazards, assess their relative risk and incorporate recommendations into your process designs.
• Install & apply innovative technologies solutions.
