- Workdescription - The ship metal worker will perform work in the Aluminum department. In this department, mainly the complex superstructures for luxury yachts are built from supplied building kits. The superstructures are composed of sections, with a maximum length of +/- 14 meters, these sections are partly composed of individual units. The final length of the superstructures is a maximum of 35 meters and the weight varies between 12 and 25 tons.
Candidate must meet the following requirements:
• Reading drawings and parts lists, on the basis of which they can find and check the required parts in the kit supplied;
• candidate must be able to communicate in Dutch, English and / or Polish;
• ensuring a clean and safe work situation;
• if necessary, moving / transporting materials using a crane.
• Tidy, accurate and clean work, quality requirements are high;
• can work independently and in couples;
• can attach in all common positions with MIG / MAG (CO2) welding process;
• being able to cut plasma;
• can grind and mill;
• have experience with working with a theodolite and a leveling device.
