- Relevant work experience as pipefitter
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting techniques and tools
- Good knowledge of reading and interpreting isometrics
- Valid VCA
- Valid WFPR certificate (working on flange connections according to Protocol)
- Driving licence (B)
- Good command of English language
- Installing, assembling and maintaining pipe systems
- Reading blueprints and schematics to ensure that pipe systems are installed correctly and in compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Fitting different diameters of pipes and types of material.
- Cut, bend, and connect pipes using various tools and equipment.
- Replacing spools and equipment.
- Pressurising and flushing pipes.
