For our client, EDCO, a Dutch company dealing with non-food products, we are searching for various people to work in their warehouse in Deurne or Eindhoven.

Job description
The warehouse team consists of four kinds of logistic employees, in which you will be classified based on your skills and experience. During your employment you can learn more skills and gain experience. When you prove to have acquired new skills or are able to perform more different kinds of work within the warehouse, you will grow in your job title and therefore there is the possibility to grow in your salary.

1. Beginner logistics employee: starts in the inbound and VAS subsection.
2. The logistics employee: has at least 6 months of experience within EDCO
3. The experienced logistics employee: can work also in other sections like: Newco, storage / order pick or outbound.
4. The all-round logistics employee: can work in all the subsections

Job activities / section:

Inbound
• Unloading the containers;
• Forming pallets;
• Putting the boxes on the flat-belt conveyor to the Ergopal / tallpack.

Storage
• Collect orders with a orderpick truck, picking the right amount of boxes of the bulk pallet and scanning them;
• Storage by scanning the pallets and driving them to the right locations, with a combitruck;
• Transport between inbound, storage and outbound with a reachtruck.

Newco
• Collect orders by foot, with a cart or pallet truck and a scanner;
• Picking the right amount of boxes or products of the bulk pallet and scanning them;
• Reach truck drivers: transport between inbound, storage and outbound.

VAS
• Sorting of products;
• Packaging, putting stickers on the products;
• Other production activities.

Outbound
• Preparing orders for shipment;
• Combining and sealing pallets;
• Scanning the pallets and bringing them to the relevant dock using an electric pallet truck;
• Loading pallets using an electric pallet truck in the trailer.


Working hours
Typically, the working time is between 6.00 am and 9.00 pm.
A two shift work can be used during several periods during the year, as follows:
Storage, inbound and outbound:
• Early service from 6.00 to 15.00 (Monday to Friday)
• Late service 15.00 to 00.00 (Monday to Friday)
Newco:
• From 10.00 to 19.00 (Monday to Friday)
VAS:
• From 8:00 to 17:00 (Monday to Friday)

Canteen
At EDCO you have a great canteen facility where you can buy food for a fair price. Coffee and tea are for free.

WHAT WE OFFER:
- Dutch contract, can work for long term;
- Weekly paid salary, every Friday starting with 2nd week of work;
- Housing – deducted from salary ( 99.5 eur/ week)
- Salary: starts at € 9,72 gross/ hour and can go up to 10,63 gross/ hour. Shift allowance of 12,5 %
