Job Vacancy: Welder (MIG/MAG)

POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Welder (MIG/MAG), you will be responsible for manual welding processes on steel and stainless steel components. You will also contribute to assembly work and quality control activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform MIG/MAG welding processes (135/138) based on technical drawings
- Conduct visual inspections and ensure welds meet quality standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment within a team setting

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a welder
- Proven experience with MIG/MAG welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- English language skills (conversational level or higher)
- Valid driver’s license (Category B); own transport is an advantage
- EU citizenship

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT & OPPORTUNITY
- A valid MIG/MAG welding certificate (135–138) is preferred for this position
- Experienced welders without a valid certificate are also welcome to apply, provided they can demonstrate strong practical skills and relevant work experience
- The company offers the possibility to obtain the required certification through our end client
- In such cases, a training cost reimbursement agreement (studiekostenbeding) will apply
- If the employee voluntarily leaves the company within 12 months after obtaining the certification, the employer may request repayment of (part of) the certification costs on a proportional basis
- All terms and conditions will be clearly agreed upon in writing prior to the start of the certification process
The first week they will go for course to Hengelo, these hours are not paid, It’s about 3 hours.
If they succeed the course they can do work for three weeks without the need of certification. After 3 weeks when the certificate will be given they can do the certification work. On both work they will start on a hourly wage from 17,50 after a half year they will have 18,25 per hour.
